What does the Agile Portfolio Management training course entail?
Many organizations face the challenge of optimally and effectively aligning supply and demand with their portfolios. Or would like to achieve a higher level of “Business Agility”. That is possible with Agile Portfolio Management. This training offers insights and solutions for visualizing and prioritizing all projects, programs and business initiatives within an organization. The purpose of an agile portfolio is to ensure that the entire organization can function in the most optimal form of effectiveness and decisiveness (one-piece-flow) in achieving its strategic goals and enforcing a stronger market position.
This implies that we have to deal with a whole new set of challenges at the portfolio level: demand fluctuates and is complex and sometimes contradictory. Supply is complicated and sometimes difficult to judge on its merits for the priority it deserves. At the same time, every organization is unique and the pitfall is the copying methods and processes of other organizations that can work for other organizations, but not for your organization leading to many problems.
In this training we look openly at the most common bottlenecks in this area, followed by a number of best practices in the field of Agile Portfolio Management and Agile Scaling frameworks. With this, you can work together with other participants and the trainer to design and improve your own solution. You also learn to deal with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity of supply and demand.
